TSG designed the Roller Derby 2.0 Kneepads specifically for for modern roller derby. They feature a lower profile and a non-bulky, durable pad which offers maximum protection. The pad is equipped with a super strong fixed cap that is large and wide to safely cover your patella. Pre-shaped high-density foam absorbs force on impact and the pad itself is a longer length to protect your upper shin. Both top and bottom straps can be adjusted to fit and a covered buckle on the bottom strap allows you to easily open it after use.

  • Made of extremely durable 600D polyester with double-stitching
  • Slim profile design
  • Long and wide High Density (HD) outer cap
  • High-quality multi-impact EVA foam dampens impacts effectively and has a slightly longer cut for protection of the upper shinbone
  • TSG Horseshoe Shape of the foam for better protection and slip-free wearing
  • Comfortable and moisture-wicking seamless lining
  • Neoprene-butterfly-Velcro straps on the back
  • Length-adjustable straps at the top and the bottom

TSG 3.0 Knee Pads April 20, 2018
Reviewer: Melissa McDonald from Oak Park, MI United States
I actually ended up with the 3.0 because the 2.0 were out of stock. So far I love them. The adjustable straps are great because A) I can get them as tight as I like, and B) over the life of the pads I won't have long straps trailing off the pad getting caught on others' gear. Related to that, they are nice because they have covers for the velcro, so you won't get stuck to other players. The plastic knee guard seems solid, slides well. Already a bit scratched up, but that's to be expected.

They aren't super bulky in terms of the cushioning, which is nice for smooth cross-overs. My one complaint is that they are a bit long on the leg (though I'm a shorty). Sometimes they ride down a bit too low and dig into my shin.

Great for my short, strong legs January 21, 2018

These are the first pads I've worn that weren't either so tight that I am sweating to get them on or so bulky that they impede my skating. Used them in scrimmage last night - no slipping around, great protection when falling.
